GIICS

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Institute of Integrated Circuits and System Applications is a provincial-level institution established on August 2, 2019, with strong support from the Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, and the Guangzhou Development District. It is jointly initiated and built by the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (led by the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and the Administrative Committee of the Guangzhou Development District. The institute has been approved as a provincial-level high-level innovation research institute and a new type of research and development institution. It also serves as the vice president unit of the Guangzhou Semiconductor Association.
